Home Sweet Home

Thank you all for your prayers. We hope you enjoyed sharing as much of the adventure as we were able to post. I will add pictures soon. It is amazing to get on the stupid side of faith and watch what the Lord will do. In our own minds we determine what walking by faith entails, go beyond that … trust God for something extraordinary and watch how He and only He can bring it to pass. Our God Is An Awesome God! And the really cool part is He wants to have a personal relationship with you. The creator of the world, the maker of sunsets and waterfalls wants to you to come to Him personally so He can forgive your sins and create in you new life. See you soon or in heaven. Jim and Elaine.

Jim and Elaine,
I read the blog from start to finish. What a wonderful adventure! Fitting that during your trip, Pastor G was preaching on the Power of the Holy Spirit. I'm sure you experienced that first-hand and often. Phrases like the "stupid side of faith" and "Obstacle then Miracle" and "T.I.Z." will stay with me.

Thank you for blessing me through your witness of how great He is and shows Himself to be. Thank you for your faithfulness to Him. He is worthy. He alone.

I'm so sorry that the website went down during your trip. I know you would have had many more comments if people were able to reach the FBC site.

Thanks again for bringing your testimony of His goodness and power. Thank you for sharing His heart for the people of Zambia.

Hey Jim and Elaine! It is Levi. I really enjoyed being around you Jim. God has given you a gift with working with people. Remember Jim when I wore the chains for the part of Jesus? Well I did not know that God would renew a desire of mine when I did that. When I was 13 God called me to preach and now because of the trip and the chains in Zambia, God has renewed that desire to preach the Gospel. So I am on one of my greatest adventures, learning the word of God to preach the gospel. I can not say how God is going to work out the details but I just know He will! I came back in a daze and could not for the life of me figure out why. Then one night while driving God tapped me on the shoulder and reminded me about what He asked me to do at 13 years old. I set up a meeting this last week with one of our pastors and this is what he showed me in God's word to confirm my questions about becoming a pastor. Psalms 37: 1-4 and 1 Timothy 3:1
